Holy cow, y'all

I've had a very weird day. I mean, literally, it started in the early hours, when I was prowling comment_fic for new prompts, and Tuesday was already up. Found a good one and proceeded to crank out a quick 1400 words before bed (around 5 a.m., but I didn't go right to sleep, because I was freezing, so I rummaged around for a pair of socks, and that did the trick). And did I mention this week is supposed to be drabbles? Oops!

Was supposed to go to a movie with GK, but I was too short on sleep. Ironically, after I'd canceled, I woke up right around the time she would've picked me up.

Anyway, I had breakfast around noon and came into the office to check emails, etc. Yeah. coughed up another drabble--this one actually was 100 words.

There was another prompt...it was from Monday, but it had possibilities. Yup, sure did. Maybe a third of it was for the topic du jour. The rest is headcanon, for a total of 1100 words. (Not posted yet--I'm still tweaking it.)

Somehow, the day has just...evaporated. I look at the time display, and I've lost forty-five minutes, an hour, thirty minutes...I'm not working on the things I ought to be working on, but I feel pretty damn productive nonetheless.

Now I guess I'll have dinner. If I owe you an email or a reply about something, sorry about that--!
