Mad science and commuting conundrums

Soon. Soon I'll be blonde again. My roots are gooped up with formula and my timer is ticking away the minutes until I can submerge and rinse away the lackluster tone of my locks in favor of shining golden color. Mad science, with a double-X chromosome....

Dropped the box of discards off at Goodwill this afternoon---a damn close call, timewise, but it was taking up the whole passenger side, so I wasn't about to leave it. Granted, I exited the house in what ought to have been ample time. It was raining fish in South Rockledge. The whole way from Rockledge Gardens to Suntree, I was white-knuckled...then it faded away to minnows instead of mackrel.

Was a block and a half from work, when I was blocked by a train stopped on the tracks. Then it began to inch forward until the end of it was in sight. Then...it stopped again...and started backing up. At which point, I turned around, backtracked to US1, drove down to the street that intersects the other side of our parking lot and went down that way.

Got a couple decent, though not spectacular, sales today. She-Boss wasn't around, but the chicks who noticed the hair were complimentary. With trainings lined up tomorrow and Thursday, I want my hair to be at its best.

Sorry if I've been a bit obsessive this week, but I'm rediscovering one of my best features....

My daddy was a blond and my mama was a redhead, so I can go either way and pull it off, but since blonde was my childhood hair color, I tend to go with that. It gives me a broader variety of wardrobe colors to work with.

I need to experiment with some products for frizz, hold and curl, and a new blow dryer is probably on the agenda.

I don't have a digital camera, so I need to find someone to snap some film---I have a roll in progress, as soon as it's developed, I'll post. That's liable to be the end of next week, after I get paid. (Funny how they won't process pix for free!)

Pure brunette, but my coloring lets me pull off the red. Sebastian's had me at the same shade for years. There are people who have no idea I'm not a natural.

I got my goddess nails done last night and my eyebrows waxed, so that Seb can also color my eyebrows adding to the "natural" effect.

Yeah, it all depends on the shade. I have a pal who's a natural redhead, and she once got the most fabulous color just by using blonde color on her own auburn glory.
