vanillafluffyS & T have postponed their departure for a day due to the death of one of the schnauzers last night. Now they're down to two, who are younger and healthier and louder and more obnoxious, but hey, schnauzers....
Stormy was the dowager bitch of Macs's harem. I'm not surprised that she's dead---her health has been poor for several years---but the timing is unfortunate. Although, it would've been worse if she'd died while they were away. *shudder*
Now, she can see and she's not limping around. I hope she's frolicking with Macs on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge---and with Grover, whom she never met, but he was S's old dog. (He was 12 or so when she got Macs, and Grover was a very good influence when it came to house-breaking.)
