My boring weekend

vanillafluffyI've had a quiet weekend...even blew off church this morning because I just couldn't get it in gear. Partly because Mb and I went out for burgers lateish---and partly because I nodded off for a Saturday afternoon nap. Did wash my hair, though...now if I can just do some laundry....
Tomorrow I plan to head out to the food pantry in the AM, and stop by a dollar store for some essential bathroom tissue, enough to last til next weekend.
The weather is happily October-y; temps are around 80 or less, heat index and humidity are no longer dire, and I can actually sleep with a sheet as long as the fans are going. (And as witnessed the other night, I can even sleep without the fans if need be, although they're still preferable.)
Still tres underwhelmed by SPN 6; if they've going for "a slow build-up", they need to speed it the fuck up, I'm just saying. CSI: Miami Season whatever...I knew who the accomplice was...and the other suspect? Has been a suspect before in a previous season, but pretty sure it was a different character.
It's pretty bad when the bright side of your weekend is watching (or using as background) movies on network that you already have on DVD---in this case, an FX Timothy Olyphant double-feature of "Hitman" and "Live Free, Die Hard". Red-hot rumor on IMDb bulletin boards says the DVD release for "Justified" is on or around November 8th. About damn time! Still waiting for "Catch and Release" to arrive. They must've sent it Media Mail, yawn....

yuletide. I know I feel better when I'm writing: Right now, I'm not writing and I'm lethargic and wan---and I can't blame it on the heat.
