Thanks. I don't know why I'm so angsty, unless it's because this is the first person I've lost who was about my age. (Bro was 15 years older---she was just five years older, and I'd known her since 1982.)
JJF is an odd duck: It's one part screwball comedy, one part Cold War spy thriller, and Whoopie is foul-mouthed throughout. (Although yesterday's version was cleaned up for AMC, I've seen the original to mentally dub in the swear words.) I wouldn't spend money on it, but if it ever shows up on the Late Movie, it's worth a look.
