vanillafluffyLast night, I slept with foam rollers in my hair---I set my bangs to frame my face---whee! I am ultra-curly! Kat says it makes me look younger...which makes me feel good, since I seem to be having a middle-aged funk lately. Tell me again why I'm in this handbasket?!
My memory must be going---last night, PJ called me, and asked if I was free for dinner next Friday or Saturday. Nope, working both nights, why? Because at some point in the distant past, I agreed to housesit while they went on their next cruise, and it commences Labor Day week. (I don't doubt that he told me this, but it was ages ago, and I don't think a date was ever specified.) It's a 5-day cruise, no biggie, and I'd much rather housesit for the C's than for S---the dogs are less needy, the computer less temperamental, and the commute slightly less stressful. The only downside is the split-level house and the bed like a rock; S has a very spacious, comfortable bed AND a hot tub. Meh, whatever.
