vanillafluffyI wish you all a terrific new year. 2007 is bright and shiny and full of promise. 2006, whatever it was for you, is GONE. It won't go down as my best year, but oddly enough, despite spending exactly half of it unemployed, it was far from my worst year, either. It's all in where your head is at, and these days, mine is happy and filled with creative possibilities.

Date: 2007-01-02 03:04 am (UTC)This summer, while we were visiting the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, I noticed the set-building shop had a tattered state flag mounted on the wall with "Hurricane Otto" written on the wall below it. It was the flag that flew over the theatre during the storm, which caused tremendous damage to the complex. They'd put up a sign next to it that said: "That which does not kill us makes us very cranky." 2006 was like that -- cranky-making!
May 2007 bring peace, happiness, and very few cranky-making moments.
