Ready and waiting

vanillafluffyYesterday's presentation went well. LadyJ was there and we had a chance to chat for a bit, which was nice, except that the ravening hordes completely cleared out hospitality. I didn't mind so much for myself, as I had the Chinese buffet to look forward to, but LadyJ must've had to stop somewhere on her way home.
I went directly over to Kat's from church and when GK got back from church and running around, we all went to the Chinese Buffet---yummy, as usual---and went an saw, not Reboot, but UP. Which was charming and well-executed and made me cry a couple times---I am very susceptible. When I see something so exquisitely animated, I always wish I could share it with Peter. He was very passionate about Disney animation, and I remember how he rhapsodized about the CGI techniques they used during the ballroom scene in Beauty and the Beast, which was very cutting edge at the time. He would've loved UP.
Came home and did dishes and a big load of laundry...there were not a lot of dishes in the sink, and I did the ones that've been sitting on the stove and counter. Rounded up the boots that![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
pwcorgigirl sent me for GK to try---we have the same size feet, but her ankles are more defined. Perhaps she'll be able to zip them.
This is NOT the early start GK was talking about yesterday. I've been up since 8:30, I'm dressed to shoes, ready to go...*sigh*
