vanillafluffyThis house-sitting expedition has had a surprising side-effect, namely, I've been in bed around midnight and up at 8-ish. Of course, the fact that I'm sleeping comfortably may have something to do with it.
Captain Ahab's thermostat* is set in the low 70s, which is deliciously chilly. Seriously, it's at least 20 degrees cooler than my house, and the humidity is less, too.
I have completed a 20-page hand-written rough draft of my latest brainstorm. now to transcribe it for the first e-draft, and then, tweaking and more tweaking.
And now I'm off for Chinese food.

* Because "Mb's SO's dad" is a bit unwieldy, and because the house is FILLED with sea-related tchotchkes, IE 500 lighthouses, old fisherman, sailing ships, etc.
