I had a bright idea a few weeks ago---I was going to take pix of my outfits for work, church, etc. with a cheapo camera. I did this for a week or so, then turned the film in. Unfortunately, either the flash in the mirror rendered the shots light-struck or they were badly aimed and showed only part of me. Anyway, I'm going to have to get other people to take the pix, and since I don't have a roommate or other helping hand, it's gonna be a while....

What I need is a decent digital camera---built into a cell phone would be even better! (I haven't detailed my cell phones agita simply because it's been such a hassle, but pay-as-you-go sucks big hairy donkey dicks.) Or a boyfriend who's a shutterbug...as long as he wasn't one of those "I've posted those nude pix of you on the Net" types.

Of course, I could also use someone standing over me forcing me to go through my wardrobe and sort and organize it. I had it together for a while last year---everything was arranged in my closet according to long or short sleeves, knit or woven, print or solid, and sorted by top or bottom. Since I've been running amok at Goodwill, though, my organization is fairly superficial. I'm just trying to squash it all into my closet!

Taking good self-portraits in a mirror was one of the assignments in my college photography classes. It's bloody hard!

I need some of that closet organization mojo sent my way, too. It's not so much clothes as it is boxes of fabric and sewing stuff that's taking up all the space.

*laugh hysterically* I've got a whole ROOM full of fabric. That's part of the problem of having lived in the same 3 bedroom house---mostly solo---for over 20 years. Hobbies and collections scattered about: quilting and sewing in one bedroom, hammered aluminum in the living and dining rooms, ceramics in the garage and books everywhere.

Yeah, when you share the same size space with two other people, it does cut down on the amount of stuff you can collect! My collection is miniscule next to my husband and son's "junque." Mine just happens to be all crammed into the bedroom closet, artfully taking up 90 percent of the floor space in my end of it.

Someday, I want a sewing room. With a window!

Oh god, I hate my wardrobe skills. I put everything neat and tidy and within two days I manage to turn it into chaos. Which must be a natural gift really (the chaos evoking I mean.) Either that, or there is a wardrobe demon that loves to mess up clothes through the night. Or day. Or whatever.

That's what happens to my desk!

Oh don't even get me started on the desk cluttering evil demon thingy. *bangs head on keyboard*

I've come to terms with that. I can be really chaotic. Once every couple of weeks I'll straighten everything out to perfect order. And then it'll revert to chaos. The odd thing is that in the chaos I know where my stuff is, whereas after tidying up? I don't. *sigh*
