Like the job, HATEHATEHATE the phone. Every time I turn around, it's ringing for bullshit that has nothing to do with my job. No, I can't afford to buy aluminum siding, I don't want to take yer fracking survey, and I don't give a fuck how much she owes you, Tyesha is no longer at this number, now fuck off. (I *never* had this problem with BrightHouse.)

Money is making me insane; I'm so damn close to not having to worry, and I'm gnawing my knuckles. GK is going to help with Geico, now I have to figure out the rest of it. I'll have some coming in from January, enough to take care of the water bill and Allstate, IF it arrives in time...IDK. God knows what I'm going to do at the end of February while I'm waiting for my February check to show up in March.

Right now, I'm so tired I just want to crawl into bed. Just waiting for the confirmation email from GK. I'm going to kill anyone who wakes me Saturday before 10AM, I swear.

*hugs* Can you register the landline with Do Not Call? I did that with the office phone at St. P's and I delight in reporting every telemarketer that calls. Before I started playing hardball, AT&T alone would call four or five times a day.

I've signed up for DNC, but as one of today's lot informed me, that takes about 30 days to go through. I had ELEVEN calls today, most of them from (various franchisees of) ADT alarms, first one a 8:14. NOT happy.

Hugs are much needed and gratefully appreciated (as are your contributions, thank you). Managed to get my check for January expedited (they'll mail it out on Tuesday), but was informed that the usual turn-around time is up to 30 days, meaning Imay not see February's earnings until nearly April, which almost made me burst into tears. I keep trying to tell myself that "This, too, shall pass", but I already feel so beaten down, what next, damn it?!

I welcome you to the same "This, too, shall pass" club, because there is a real shit going on in my work place. Whichever way it resolves itself, I am trying to keep doing the aforementioned mantra and soldiering on.
