I love your indomitability. Many other qualities I'd like to name, but I think that's first.

I'm truly grateful for small things. And I'm more or less incapable of holding a petty grudge.

Birthday was a milestone, but we've stopped counting numbers now. The day itself was lovely, with a scenic drive in good company, an offer of dinner out, which I turned down in favor of homemade (amazingly good) soup, a decadent chocolate (cup)cake, and a splash of red wine. The cake was even on fire! Thank you for the wishes.

I think the last time around I said it was your sense of humor, especially when things were rough. This time I'll say I'll be narcissistic and say I love you for all the ways you are like me. (There's a few fannish deviations, but basically we roll the same.)

I'm generous with time and money and emotional support, even when I'm feeling low on all those resources myself. I love my own sense of humor. I honestly think anyone who doesn't get my humor is an idiot.

The thing I admire most about you is your incredible versatility. I was IN AWE when you did the year of drabbles. For that matter, I'm smitten with admiration every time you do MMoM--O s;omg a ;ott;e pr0n myself, but your range of fandoms and prolificality in general are astonishing.

I do have a MASSIVE Who-verse crossover fic in the works, but not much of what I'm watching now (Justified, The Good Wife, Elementary, re-watch of Foyle's War) is really sparking the old muse. However, I suspect if I troll for prompts and do go another MMOM, I could probably come up with a few good wanks.

The only thing I've done in months, other than Yuletide, is that curtain fic/pr0n crossover you've seen bits of. That's mostly a Sherazade kind of thing; I haven't been posting it publicly because you and I both know how I hate being ignored on a grand scale (or being flamed for ruining anyone's childhood). I have a happy audience of one, who offers kudos and occasional prompts. I'd like to get out into fandom again, but right now, this is enough.

I'm looking forward to catching up with doin's in Harlan this weekend; I sure do miss cable!
