vanillafluffy: (Caffeine supply)

Last night, I slept for seven hours. I got up, had breakfast, and promptly slept for four more.

Despite that, my eyes prefer to stay closed, and my head feels like a soft-boiled egg that someone has hit with a spoon.

I'm hungry, but am unnaturally apathetic toward the thought of food. It's too much trouble. Especially since my kitchen is still a disaster zone.

This is what happens when I'm not properly caffeinated. Sucked down my last reserves on Wedsnesday and am now in the throes of deprivation.

It ain't pretty.

Argh. Been there, done that, and it was awful every time. *hugs* Do you have any Excedrin in the house? I think they still put caffeine in some of the formulas.

I have, and they do. It's slightly reduced the clamor, but I'm leary about depending on that, because the aspirin in it is bad for my macular degeneration.

I did not know you had that or that aspirin is bad for it. Aspirin gives me volcanic-level heartburn, so I've avoided it for the last couple of decades.

Maybe you can get a ride to church with a pit stop at the 7-11. *hugs*

Uh-huh. Got the word at my eye exam last year. Saw a news story later that mentioned aspirin is problematic---when I think of all the Excedrin I've popped!---so I'm very judicious with it. (That's also why I don't drive after dark if I can possibly help it---my night vison is shot!)

Am hoping for a ride and a pit-stop ,eamwhile I have distracted myself by writing a ficlet for a prompt, and am contemplating popping in a DVD.
