A pretty good week! Not only did I fire off these little guys, I posted a chapter to The Man With the Silver Arm (http://archiveofourown.org/works/2559011/chapters/33181176) for the first time in 10 months. Good grief--If I can get over the hump of the next chapter or two, I'll be in the homestretch. I've vowed to have it completed by its 4th anniversary in November.

I remember quite vividly starting it while living in the garage at GK's old house, on that beat-up laptop that was a long-term loan from SBJB. It was a cute idea (Storing the Winter Soldier at the same facility where they were trying to grow Captain America’s clone is probably not the wisest decision Hydra ever made.), and it was supposed to be a one-shot, but goddamn Bucky Barnes (although he's Jim in this incarnation)--I couldn't quit him.

Some things never change.

I'm working on the next chapter while the fire is hot, and doing a little something with my carnival AU. (http://archiveofourown.org/works/14329776) It isn't getting huge love, but I'm enjoying it. I suspect that some of the fandom hush is everyone bracing themselves for Infinity War and the resultant upheavals in canon. I myself am planning to take Xanax and tissues to the theater with me.
