Still buggered, thanks....

I'm not even going to start to try to detail the day I've been having. My cable is working, my internet isn't (I'm at B & A's), and I've called out of work for the second time in three days, so I'm liable to catch holy hell on Tuesday.

I'm so at the end of my rope that yesterday I asked one of the supers if I can cut back to four days a week (Saturdays too, please, God---Friday/not Friday is unnatural!). It would mean about the same take-home pay as my old job, but not having to commute as much. I'm waiting for a response from personnel.

Three hours a day being swallowed whole by back-and-forth is making me crazy, no lie. My productivity writing-wise is shit, and at the risk of sounding completely neurotic and self-indulgent, I'd rather economize and have more time for what's really important to me. (I go a little crazy when I'm not writing, or hadn't you noticed?)

Meanwhile, at home on my computer, waiting for me to be able to upload it and share is an idea that occured to me on the drive home last night. It started out as a crack-smoking idea, but somehow, it didn't stay that way...much.

I did get my work days rejiggered a couple of weeks ago and it made all the difference. I'll cross fingers they're understanding with you.
