I don't *think* I uploaded these: they were taken a few weeks ago by [livejournal.com profile] missybrat and feature the cloak GK made for me, and, in the full-length pic, the leopard-print platform shoes. In the cloakless close-up, I'm wearing a necklace I made of labradorite wrapped in copper. And really? I'm not *that* top-heavy, it's just that she's 8" shorter than I am!

The icon is a close-up of my right calf, if you were wondering....

Wow, great outfit! You need some misty moors to wear that fabulous cloak on (Florida's a bit short on those!) The leopard print shoes are so cool, and the necklace is lovely. My best friend makes jewelry, and I'm always amazed at how you visually artistic types can take, well, rocks, and turn them into something so beautiful.

Funny, I don't really think of myself in those terms: visually artistic? Moi? Crafty, maybe. I need something to do with my hands when the TV is on, but artistic...?

Oh my goodness, I loved that necklace! I'm at awe right now. I don't think I could make jewellery even if John Winchester asked me to! What I liked best though, is the dragonfly tattoo.

ps I can seeeeee you! :)

Thanks! One of the gals from my church gave a few classes on wire-working, and it just snowballed from there. It's been a surprisingly helpful skill: I had to wire up a muffler last year, and I had it taken care of in record time.

ps I can seeeeee you!
Honey, I'm hard to miss.

Thanks! Although the picture quality isn't all it could be, the cloak itself was well worth waiting for.

I've told you before I love the cloak, but it bears repeating. *grin* The clasp, especially, is awesome. And I LOVE labradorite. That's a really huge piece of it, on that necklace!!

Uh-huh. Lab = shiny. I picked that particular boulder up at the show I went to last month with AI. I saw it in a box with several other chunks of lab, and holding it, I could see how to wrap it. And you can't tell from that pic, but there are smaller pieces on the necklace itself....

The cloak clasp is indeed handsome. It and more spectacular examples of craftsmanship can be found at http://www.cloakmaker.com/ Yes, I *will* pimp for GK (and her friend's company).
