Not quite an ordinary Friday

In the cosmic scheme of things, if someone is going to knock on your door and awaken you two hours before you need to get up, it is *good* if that someone owes you money and thrusts it into your hot little hand.

I then went back to bed (a bit of a struggle) and had some crack-riddled dreams I can't quite recall (except they were freaking weird---Abe Lincoln and a groundhog weird).

I had a $1700 day at work, thanks to two FAT orders from Posh Brits. (I love this new system. I haven't had more than 2-3 Fit-Nazi calls all week. *sobs with joy* On the other hand, I want to find the gormless individual who writes ad copy for Pelts Leathermore and beat them to death with a thesaurus. They sent out an e-mail advertising a "Sneak Peak" at our revised clearance items. What, customers have to stealthily scale a mountain to get them? Fuckwits!

Has anyone else been having trouble with ff.net this week? I've posted several things and not gotten ANY notifications, and yet I've gotten other notifications, so WTF? The only thing I can think of is that they were rated 'M'. And at some point, they took down the help desk contact info, so there's no way to ASK.

Rather annoying!

Yes, I've been having trouble with ff.net. My first Blood Ties fic showed one review, but didn't email it to me. Then it showed that three more reviews existed, but not only would it not email them to me, you couldn't see them at the site, either, just the first review. Yes, I know that happens at first sometimes, but this went on for days. I finally complained to support[at]fanfiction[dot]net, and while they didn't answer, the problem at the site did clear up. But I only today got the email notifications of those reviews, and that's been, like two weeks now. Also today all the story and chapter notifications suddenly came through. Damned annoying.

Ah. Well then, I'll wait a while longer and see how many of the fans I've accrued with my other Pitch Black fic come out to play.

Can't help you re: FF.Net. I don't even post there, since I think most of my stuff is too explicit for that site.

The one currently going up pushes the line as hard as I've ever pushed it. But there IS an actual plot, so hopefully, no one will get their panties in too much of a bunch. (I write very little PWP, and even my smut isn't usually *that* explicit.)
