Happy insanity

vanillafluffyI have some bug that has me feeling like crap, and my sleep schedule is skewed every which way, but it's okay. At least I'm writing.
Got a wake-up call earlier when a friend's post reminded me that I need something to wear here: http://karaokegal.livejournal.com/26709.html I had nothing written at all. That's no longer the case. Hee hee.
Sometimes, you just have to give in to the bunnies. This one started whispering in my ear a couple days ago, and OMG---the more it whispers, the more I love it and want to hug it and squeeze it andcall it George feed it carrot cake.
I had some trepidation; a crack-smoking concept is one thing, but sooner or later, a PLOT would be a Good Thing, as Cousin Martha would say. But have faith, as they say. One of my characters said something in the first scene---small talk on his part, but *I* seized on it---and several points obligingly sprouted like mushrooms after a rain. Amazing!
This is the first time in many months I've felt like this about a project. Writer, heal thyself!
