Fun with fashion

vanillafluffyThis amused me: yesterday turned out NOT to be a Trendicrap visit, just more in-house training with a couple of the usual suspects. Now, I was ready for Trendicrap, meaning I had on my new black and white polka-dotted skirt, a solid red top and red shoes. Anyway, when I got into Training Room 1, I discovered that Red, who was doing part of the training, was wearing a red top with white polka-dots and black pants. Clearly, we were rummaging around in the same end of the fashion closet! It made me smile to see us both in the same palette and pattern, with different takes on them.
I took two pairs of red shoes with me, sandals and espadrilles, because the sandals were iffy. I got them several years ago for a wedding, and was reminded why I've seldom worn them---the straps dig into my arches and the strap at the back won't stay in place. I ended up offering them to Red. They're theoretically 11s, and she says she wears a 10, but wtf, they aren't doing me any good. She's going to let me know later how they fit.
I saw a couple tops at W*M that would also work with that skirt, but I'm holding off---want versus need, and right now what I really need is to get my #$%&ing lawn mowed.
