Today was a *much* better day. Everyone who was supposed to be at work was, I didn't hear from any mega-morons, and because management isn't as uptight these days, I used an hour of personal time back-to-back with lunch and ran home, unloaded stuff from my car: 2 bags of clothes--what was I thinking?!, assorted Christmas presents, non-perishable groceries and laundry supplies, the cans in the recycle bin in the backseat, which created enough space that I'm not going to have to worry about crushing anything tomorrow.

Mind you, interesting developments *are* brewing on the horizon, because all the games that people have been playing are about to come back to haunt them. Today, it was announced that we're not going to do Employee of the Month any more, and no birthday cards or special event collections--nope, too many people weaseled and bitched at the nominal fee. There's even a rumor that they're going to curtail lunch runs and Friday morning breakfasts and not allow people to order delivery. Whoa! (Note to self, make *sure* I have something for breakfast in the fridge!)

Too many spoiled brats have been changing the rules to suit themselves, and now maybe some of said brats will get pissed off and go elsewhere, or kick up enough of a fuss to get themselves fired. Should be fun to watch!

I need to go fix dinner and start pack the rest of this @#$% up....
