Good grief! It's *SO* Monday!
Jan. 9th, 2006 09:30 pmI swear to Dog, I talked to more people today than I did all last week, and 75% of them had problems that involved further research. I had to make phone calls on a bunch of things, which I loathe. Was addressed as "You People" three times. And it was back-to-back callers continually, all day long. So, basically, the job sucks like a Hoover right now.
When I got home, I changed my FF.net settings to refuse anonymous reviews. I've had one too many pissy little chickenshits leave me a pointless, semi-literate commentary, and I'm over it. Okay, I'll get fewer reviews because sometimes people aren't going to feel like signing in. I don't care. I'm tired of being pecked at by gutless twinks who don't have enough cojones to sign their names. I have NEVER left an anonymous review or posting. To me, that speaks of a lack of integrity. If you aren't willing to attach your name to your thoughts, are they really worthy of being uttered? Or are you the one who isn't worthy? Think about it....
Meanwhile, Thunderbunny is having a Girls' Nite Out on Thursday...had a long chat with her this evening--damn, I miss having her around all the time. The office just hasn't been the same. She and Vermonster are working out at a new gym...closer to their side of town, but I'm sorely tempted, just to hang with them on a regular basis. (And she says there are a bunch of hunky guys--eye candy is good, too.)
It's 10 degrees warmer tonight than it was last night. This is a Good Thing!
