Assorted Thursday blather...

Today was less awful than yesterday. Didn't get "You People'd"--the only really off the wall call I had was a lady who, after being told her balance was $0, regaled me with the story of her nervous breakdown for the next ten minutes. She was nice, and it sounded like a fairly stressful situation, I was just a little floored by the level of detail she was confiding to me on two minutes notice.

Found out that the company is changing insurance providers this year--to the company I would most like to see roasting in Hell--AND they're charging us more for the privilege. Mumble, mumble, mumble, fucking assholes mumble, mumble...

The TV is roosting in my room; I'll hook it up tomorrow. T came by and we hauled the old one down to the street, went to the church, and got the new one. (Which is trimmer than the old one, but the screen is the same size, near as I can tell.) Anyway, this one's got a remote and it even has the book that goes with it!

Aside from that, nothing really new going on except an obnoxious, slashy plot bunny who wants to elbow his way into my writing schedule. (He can just take a number and get in line with the rest of them!)
