Dreaming a (strange) little dream....

I had a strange little dream this morning. I dreamed I went in to work, and after being gone for a week, everyone "forgot" that I'd been fired. I was on the phone with someone, and for whatever reason, had to ask my supervisor about the caller's problem. I was talking to her and it dawned on us both at the same time that I wasn't supposed to be there. I told her it was hard to get out of the habit of working there, and that I'd leave quietly, but she or someone needed to take care of my caller, who was still on hold. (End of dream.)

What does that say about me? That I'm willing to let bygones be bygones? That I want to tie up loose ends? That I'm too stubborn to quit and too blonde to know that I'm fired? Or that regardless of what applications I may have put in, I *know* that sooner or later, I'm going to wind up back on the phone--somebody's phone somewhere, even if not there...?

Huffing and puffing...

At the moment, I'm taking a breather from shoving furniture around. It's been quite a workout, but the TV has moved to the wall at the foot of my bed. I swapped it with that dresser; maybe this way I can get at the drawers to empty them and get rid of the damned thing. That will make it much easier to paint.

Yes, I'm aware that it's supposed to be bad feng shui to have a TV in the bedroom at all, much less in that position, but one's not supposed to have a window at the head of the bed, either. I'm hoping they'll cancel each other out. Besides, this way, I can stretch out full-length on the bed while watching movies instead of laying across the bed. (It's better for my back.)

Now all I have to do is find places for everything I had to move to shift that stuff....
