May. 2nd, 2006 11:21 pmI stopped procrastinating and went through my bookmarks--honestly, my favorites would've hit the ground if it wasn't an electronic list. It didn't take as long as I thought--as with so many things one procrastinates about! Now it's in something like order of priority and only slightly more than one screen long.
I ran into a crossover today on FF.net that made my jaw drop: Riddick and the Ship Who Sang. (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2827400/1/) God knows, I'm an Anne McCaffrey fan from way, way back (1979, to be exact!), but as crazy as I am about Riddick, this is one crossover I don't think I ever would've come up with. There are a few idiosyncrasies--
grammar_whores need not apply--but so far, Riddick and Helva are both plausibly in character and I'm looking forward to whatever happens next. (The writer replied to my review and *assured* me that the story *will* be continued.)
Gee, now if I could just find a place to exhibit *my* Riddick crossover...it's far too mature for ff.net--and I don't wanna edit it! (Wah!) I like my nice, steamy, slashy Riddick just the way he is!
