Overcoming technical difficulties....

One thing I managed to accomplish during my days off was getting my VCR hook-up fixed. Somehow during the process of unplugging, reconnecting and replugging, I managed to correct whatever was keeping the VCR from recognizing the remote. The clock is now set to the right time, and I'll be able to set the timer so I won't miss any more eps of House or SPN. (Which is good, since we're about to start getting fresh eps again.) Go, me!

I'm hoping to find out today how much the bonus will be; I hear it'll be on our next checks. That's gonna take care of my property taxes, yay!

Spent New Year's Day busily engaged: writing, beadwork, laundry and reading Motor Mouth, the latest Janet Evanovich novel. 2007 is off to a good start!
