Prelude to house-sitting
Jun. 1st, 2007 11:00 amMy friends are flying out at "oh-dark-thirty" tomorrow, so I can come home tonight, and only have to cope with commuting there Saturday and Tuesday. They return late Wednesday afternoon.
I'm reminding myself that usually the Saturday commute on US1 is pretty swift---a Good Thing, since they're on the island, and THAT'S crazier than usual on Saturdays. Then Tuesday---well, it's just two days, I'll muddle through. (The last time I house-sat for them, I was still out of work, so commuting was the least of my worries.)
One of the nice things is, their house is about five minutes from the mall, so hopefully I can scoot over and catch Pirates3.
My brain is not really in gear yet...*yawn*...but I'm glad this is a pay week and that I'm fairly caught up on the bills. A change of scene can be as good as a vacation, and for this I don't need a passport....
