Ya gotta love us Virgos! (Virgo car geeks, no less....)

I was wandering around Supernaturalwiki, and clicked on this: http://www.dbw-ink.com/spn-roadmap-and-timeline.html, which is an amazingly detailed chart of the Impala's travels in Seasons 1 and 2.

The perp has estimated 10 miles per gallon, which I think is a *little* low, based on the fact that it's known to have a 427 cubic-inch engine. I used to have a Buick with a 455 and a 4-barrel carb, and that got about 10 city, 13 highway, when it was tuned. The Impala is going to be a slightly lighter car (Leroy was a total land yacht!). There's no reason for the heavy-duty, gas-sucking carb, so I'm going to guess that if Dean maintains her meticulously, then it might be closer to 15 MPG, which still sucks, but every little bit helps.
