All Purpose Monday post
Mar. 31st, 2008 11:10 pmThe first thing I did this morning was run out and pay my property taxes. I'm safe for another year, yay!
Threw some pork into the crockpot for dinner tonight and tomorrow---seasoned it with ground cloves and smothered it in applesauce---interesting, but I think it would've worked better with pineapple and brown sugar, which I'm going to try next time. (I hit a bogo at Winn-Dixie.)
Wandered back and forth between the TV and the computer all afternoon-evening. Was amused to see James Marsters playing Ted Bundy in The Capture of the Green River Killer. Also kept looking at one of the supporting players and wondering WTF I knew the chump from---Mark Warner, from House, M.D.!
I've actually got a WIP, go me! A new fandom beckons---I'm writing Dexter fic. Be afraid.

I've heard from GK, who's going to be down at the beginning of next month, and we're roughing out plans. Cleaning, seeing Iron Man, visiting with her brother---yes,sbjb, Dr Bizarre is going to briefly be in town!---and maybe going on a half-day gambling cruise. Said cruise offers free food and beverages, lounge acts, and a pleasant day or evening at sea---it doesn't cost anything, and gambling is optional. I could take a roll of quarters and kick back with a book once that's gone. I've done it before.
