The trouble, if you can call it that, with four-hour naps on Sunday afternoons, is that one is then wide-awake until all hours. In my favor, I've gotten all the dishes out of the sink and started my crockpot with the rest of those ribs. This time I've layered them with some pineapple tidbits, cloves, and brown sugar, which ought to be sinfully good. I mean, those are all the ingredients of a traditional ham, right? It's just a different method of preparation.

I have leftover bean medley to pair them with, and plenty of green beans. I inventoried-tidied-flung my cupboards last week, and learned that I had six cans of green beans and five of corn. It's down to four cans of corn, thanks to the medley, and my beans have also diminished in number. I've got to pay more attention to what I have and use it!
