A lovely day

The weather today was absolutely gorgeous...bright blue sky with a few puffy clouds, so missybrat and I went swimming in the pool over at Kat's mobile home park. Used sunblock on my top half, but my thighs are pink and tender. Worth it, though.

I love floating; I can do it for-damn-near-ever. Which is why my thighs are in the condition they're in---you can also see some strap marks on my bodice-flesh. The water was tepid, but it felt great when I got out and let the wind cool and dry me. (missybrat was shivering. Wimp!)

My swimsuit dates back to July, 1999, and I noticed as I was pulling it on that the elastic is begining to creak ominously. I think it's time for a new one. Too bad---I like that suit. It's a basic black one-piece with a silver metallic dragonfly highlighting my cleavage.

On the way home, we detoured so I could look at a Camaro at the side of the road. It was a '92, good looking---and 3 grand, which is about a decimal point higher than my budget. Alas!

kukkurkurat and I are collaborating on a fic...and it's not even one of the unfinished ones I mentioned yesterday. On the other hand, it's fun. GK and I used to tag-team stories, back in the day.
