With a little help from my friends

Just had a flying visit from GK---she stopped by on the way from dropping some stuff off at BC's, and pinned the hems of the two pairs of pants that were too long even for me. She's going to her mom's and will sew them up there on G'ma's sewing machine.

She asked me if my closet brought me joy this morning. It did. Today I wore a peachy-orange top I like with a brown crinkle skirt I haven't worn in ages (because finding it amid the crush was so difficult), and I've got a barette with an orange floral print pulling my hair back from my face.

Later, I plan to take care of my roots---it hasn't been done in...*thinks* at least six months. Long hair is such a nuisance to touch up!
