My back hurt enough yesterday that I called out of work. It still hurts; thank goodness I'm off. It particularly dislikes the action of standing up. It's not too fond on bending over, either, since that eventually requires much the same motion. I can sit, recline and walk---gingerly---but I suspect what I really need are muscle relaxers and/or a massage....

Woohoo, Lucifer Unleash'd has had a better reception than I hoped. So far, no one has accused me of Go-To-Hell blasphemy and in fact, they seem to be agreeing with my basic premise about the nature of God*. Not bad for something I consider to be cracky crack!fic!

Last night, I got moving enough to pay a fast visit to WalMart...picked up a roasted chicken, some munchies, My Bloody Valentine 3D (ended up trimming the arch of the nosepiece on the 3D glasses to get them to work, and they STILL gave me a headache), and a package of new underwear, because I usually do that at Christmastime, didn't last year and was suffering from pinholes and stretched-out elastic. TMI? Sorry!

After two days of non-stop rain, weve actually had about five minutes of watery sunshine this morning. (It's playing hide-and-seek.) I hope the sunshine prevails, I think brain-rust is starting to set in....

* One reviewer said, "only John could frustrate God into pulling a gun on him." Heeheehee! Yup!
