vanillafluffy: (Seriously)
Work Tuesday was crap. Sales were piss-poor---the one big-ticket sale I made was to some yuppie with more money than good sense---the crazy fucker paid $200 (plus expedited shipping) for an ice bucket. Can you believe that shit?!

It's pretty bad when driving home in the rain is the best part of the day.

If there is one person or more on your friends list who makes your world a better place just because they exist and who you would not have met (in real life or not) without the internet, then post this same sentence in your journal.

I'm really fortunate: There are a bunch of you, and I hope y'all know who you are!

I finally got those begonias planted---it only took two weeks!---and on my way out the door, discovered BC had been there in the form of a note saying he wants to move the mattress today and will condescend to accept the $5 I offered. Well, gee. I'm halfway tempted to tell him to go fish, but I'm tired of waking up in acute pain. I'll call him after a while, because right now, it's too damn hot to move.

The pink begonias look nice, but now I'm thinking---what am I going to do while I'm house-sitting? I'll be doing enough extra driving around...better pray for scattered showers...oh well, they were under $3, it won't be the end of the world if they don't survive.
