Work Tuesday was crap. Sales were piss-poor---the one big-ticket sale I made was to some yuppie with more money than good sense---the crazy fucker paid $200 (plus expedited shipping) for an ice bucket. Can you believe that shit?!

It's pretty bad when driving home in the rain is the best part of the day.

Oh sure, I'm gonna run right out and get one of those---of course, then my power will be shut off for nonpayment, so I won't have any ice to put in it....

That better be one hell of an ice-bucket. Sounds like both our days were cruddy yesterday. I'm still brooding about getting ratted out for being too loud after the incident with Stupid Lady.

We've got a weasel or two in our department...seems like everybody rats out everyone else for anything. It's worse than 7th grade.

Yesterday did kind of suck-- I ended my day by having a good cry. I must admit that I did feel better afterwards. :) The cry and a pan of homemade cornbread did the trick.

I've had that day, too---it wasn't yesterday, but yeah. The cornbread sounds yummy tho'---with lots of melted butter and a smidge of raspberry jam....

Wedding present for someone he seriously needed to impress? Still, I mean, it's a freakin' bucket. One from Dollar General would hold ice just as well.

I spent the entire day neck-deep in the needy, the crazy, and piles of paperwork.

Y'know, I asked that---it's June, after all, prime wedding season---but he said no, it was to replace one that got broken over the weekend. I didn't ask whether it was his own or if he'd drunkly taken out someone else's ice bucket.

Sorry to hear about teh crazy. I think it's the heat, it's poaching people's brains.
