Or webs and worship
Aug. 21st, 2011 08:50 pmGot up this morning, showered and washed my hair and went to church. Admittedly, it was more for CUUPs, which featured a presentation on angels by CapeGypsy, than it was for the main talk, which is from a guy I regard as something of a windbag.
Stopped by my house afterward to check for mail and snag a few things. Walked through a giant spiderweb that was blocking the way to my front door, eww! I have nothing against spiders in general, but icky webs are icky. I spent the next couple hours feeling itchy and going, "Did something bite me? I don't think anything really bit me...did it?!" I think not.
Ran across "Kiss Me Goodbye" on one of the movie channels this afternoon. Sally Field is being haunted by her late husband, James Caan, while her nerdy fiance Jeff Bridges tries to be a good sport about it. I saw it several times when it came out in 1981 (It was part of my James Caan/The Godfather fixation.) Jeff was a plus, I've always been fond of him.
Leverage soon. I'm going to go find some nosh....
