It really was heart-warming, or heart-bleeding, considering the symptoms.
My best friend has lupus and she's never mentioned it switching out her blood type on her. Does lots of other nasty stuff that isn't cured with a dose of steroids and a heave-ho out the door.
I really liked Flynn (or Nigel, as my son persisted in calling him).
I had it on low volume while I was taking calls...saw the credits and was going, "Steve Valentine, where do I know that name from?" Heard his voice. Flailed. OMG, it's Nigel!
I missed enough that I didn't catch all the symptoms, but when House made the diagnosis, I had to laugh because it's such a standing joke in the fandom: It's NEVER lupus.
... but the right co-star! At least for me... Think of fircrackers and astrophysics and smart glasses hiding steel grey eyes, accompanied by a nice (English?) accent...
What a great night for you to actually be watching! I can't believe they actually got there, but I'm also a bit disappointed. (Posting babble shortly.)
