vanillafluffySince my friends the C's are leaving on their cruise Saturday, we got together for last-minute instructions. Trash collection is Mondays and Thursdays, the vet info for the critters is on the fridge, and I have permission to drive AI's car while they're gone. (I don't plan to make a habit of it, but I'm quite relieved not to have to drive to Vero in a car with no speedometer.)
Then they invited me to Applebee's for dinner, which I accepted with alacrity and thanks. Had French onion soup, the house sirloin and chocolate mousse, and waddled out of there smiling.
On the way over there, I popped into Fashion Bug---I was good, honest! I have been looking for a belt for a month, and now I have one. It's a black elastic band, three inches wide, with a leopard-look buckle and tabs. (The coat itself is black with a leopart print lining.) Oh happy day! Now I just have to mark where I want it to hit and cannabalize the old shoestring belt for belt loops.
And the best part? It was on sale for $3.99. Figjam!
