Lunch with the gals was good. Had the pasta e fagioli with breadsticks and salad, and for dessert, the chocolate torte with strawberries. Quite luscious, surprisingly so for 'No sugar added'.
Logan's Run was good. It's held up pretty well, considering, although there was one glaring analog moment, literally---in the plastic surgery boutique, there was a gizmo with a counter that had printed numbers flipping over. If it had been made just a couple years later, that would've been digital! Aside from that, it made me want to write meta about the ways in which it was a product of its age. Maybe later.
Right now, I have to log in for work. Right now!

Date: 2008-03-29 10:09 pm (UTC)I'm going to have to hunt up a bigger stockpot---nothing I have is up to even half of this---but next weekend is my favorite semi-annual rummage sale at the old folks' home, so I may be able to score one there. (I've gotten all kinds of interesting and useful things there, like my hand mixer.) Now all I need is a good source for parmesan by the block, and a grater....
