I know everyone is down on themselves because the world is bad and mean to all of us, a lot. However, I can think of a million things I love about everyone who is my friend. I'm going to write some things I love about myself, and then I want you all to reply with ten things you love about yourselves, too. Yes, it's a little like group therapy. However, you need to do it! Do it---

(I'll start)
1. I have a fantastic (slightly warped) sense of humor
2. I have an amazing capacity for trivia
3. I have a wonderful imagination---it can keep me entertained for hours
4. My creativity is vast, whether it's in the kitchen, crafting, or finding ways to solve everyday dilemmas
5. My vocabulary and grammar are excellent
6. I have pretty eyes
7. I know how to sew---by hand or machine
8. I can drive a stick
9. I give good phone (20 years of headset jobs---damn skippy!)
10. I am a damn good writer

In no particular order...

1. I'm a diehard animal lover - anything for the critters!
2. I'm a very fast typist (90+ wpm)
3. I've been told (again and again) that I have beautiful eyes and skin
4. I'm extremely organized
5. I can entertain myself for weeks on end
6. God gifted me with two healthy, terrific children
7. I've also been blessed with good health (almost afraid to admit this, for fear of jinxing it!)
8. I have a wicked, off the wall sense of humor
9. I'm very empathetic
10. I enjoy (and am good with) computers

I'm particularly envious of #s 2 and 4. I'm a decent typist---40 wpm with gusts up to 50---but organized?! It is to laugh! It's supposed to be a Virgo trait? I totally fail. (Okay, maybe not totally, but with me it's more along the lines of, I'm the one who has a safety pin, or a spare tampon, or some immodium tablets in my purse---not the one who can put together dinner for eight in 45 minutes with the contents of my kitchen, including looking ravishing and decorating the house to make Martha Stewart green.)

The typing thing I just took to like a duck to water. Think about it, though - just how often in life do we *really* need to type that fast? I'm the first to admit it's not a very useful skill, but it sure looks good on a resume!

There's different types of organized. Sounds like you're more of the 'always be prepared' variety - and that's a GOOD thing!

Oh, and Martha Stewart can blow me. ;-)

1. I'm a devoted LJ friend both in giving comments and writing gift-fics.
2. I'm a very talented, if tough, beta. Those who can take it, will end up with better stories.
3. I have beautiful skin.
4. I don't always sing on key, but I know how to sell a song and I have tons of moxie.
5. My sense of humor is snarky and bitchy, but I think it's brilliant.
6. My movie/music trivia skills aren't as good as they used to be, but I'm still pretty good.
7. If there's anyway to help a friend in need, I'll do it.
8. I'll come in late and work early to get the job done.
9. I'm insanely loyal to fandoms and friends.
10. Some people would kill for my curls. (My color may not be natural, but my curls are.)
