I was going to order in pizza tonight, but the website of the conglomerate whose products I usually consume was FUBAR, so it was cream cheese and rye bread for dinner, ho-hum.

Didn't get around to touching up my roots, and now it's awfully late.

I liked House MD tonight...it had some weird and wonderful moments. The scene with Cam rehearsing her rebuttal in the locker room with Chase commenting struck me as odd, but that may be because of what was going on IRL and the RPF I devoted to it. The bit with Wilson and witchhunts made me bray with laughter. If I had any energy to devote to it, I'd contemplate a fic where a wanna-be patient approaches House (thinking he's warm and cuddly) on the basis of that documentary.

I hope this week is nice and mellow; it's been a while since I had anything like this schedule....

I can't imagine watching those episodes without the vindictive, burning hatred I was feeling for the Newbies at that point and wondering WTF was up with David Shore and his
H/Cam fetish. But yeah, Wilson did have some good moments, ones that seemed to be character driven and weren't just fanservice. :)

I'm less irked by the Noobs than I am by the sense of them "dumbing down" House.

And wtf is up with Chase suddenly doing operations all over the place? That's fairly specialized; he's already an intensivist, when did he find time to study surgery? Mail order?! The Boys' Book of Practical Operations?! It would make more sense for him to be in charge of the ICU; it relates to the skills we already know he has, and would give him far more opportunities to butt heads with House.

They need to make sure the props are really props---I think Mr Shore has been sampling too much Vicodin.

Super-chase didn't bother me, because I loved the House/Chase interactions, better than the H/W fanservice. If one actor really got to shine this season, I think it was Jesse.

Which is an indicator of how poor the season was, because so far, I don't think he's had more than five minutes of screen time at a stretch so far, aside from bowling and hypnosis at the very end.
