Somebody jump-start my brain, please?

If it were up to me, I'd curl up in bed and go back to sleep. I'm not sure WHY I'm so tired, I got something close to 8 hours...but my eyes feel glued shut.

I just want today to be over with. Half our partners are having some kind of sales, and alas, we're the last ones to find out. As long as I make it to work today and Tuesday, I get holiday pay for Monday, even though Monday is my day off. (At least on Tuesday, I have lunch with Red to look forward to.) But it's Labor Day Weekend, so there are crazies on the road and dumbasses on the phones (more than usual, I mean).

I hope it goes well, all things considered.

I've spent the morning fighting a sick headache and conferring with Corgiguy as he works on a household budget. The problem with doing a budget, necessary as one is, is it quickly becomes apparent that one of us (and it is not me or the boy) wastes a huge amount of money. It's not doing a thing for my headache.

Any talk about money tends to cause headaches, and when you already have one, it's even worse. I recommend aspirin, a cool beverage and rest in a shady spot. *thinks good thoughts*
