There's no place like home

Let's hope tonight is a quiet night on the phones, because my sleep was sporadic at best. The dogs decided to be woofy, I kept hearing activity in the neighborhood---the guest room is at the front of the house, and it's not quiet---and someone called for PJ at 9 AM to let him know about something happening that's a moot point since he's out of town. *eyeroll*

It looks like Hanna is staying well offshore, so I don't have to worry about that. Now if Ike will just keep his distance and not bugger up my prescheduled long birthday weekend, I will be a happy woman.

I never sleep as well anywhere else as I do at home..something about knowing that you are in your own bed!

I miss my waterbed, I miss my office chair, I miss cable TV...the A/C is lovely, though.
