My car won't start. Not only is this going to cost me money for repairs, it's going to cost me time from work. I'm skating perilously close to a level of discipline that will bar me from going home, ahh, the irony. PJ is going to help get me towed to Old Car Guy, aka 2nd Choice, who is there until 5:30 today and working tomorrow---so I have a decent chance of being able to get to work tomorrow. I did not need this shit. (And White Trash Queen was plying us with free pizza today---I am bummed!)

Please, can we pray for a speedy and inexpensive solution to this problem?

And to add insult to injury, asshat mechanic did NOT show up today---I called from 9:30 onward, got Mb to run me up there---if it wasn't for her, I'd've had to call in. He'd better be DAMN reasonable come Monday, cuz I'm PISSED.

I sincerely wish it would hurry up and get here. My mechanic isn't there---according to a guy in the same plaza (I was savvy enough to call ahead), he was in and out today and apparently isn't back yet. I really hesitate to try to drive to Melb. with it in this condition, but I may have to, since ordinarily, I'd be leaving for work in a little over an hour.
