Sunday night

vanillafluffyI only had about 6 hours sleep last night (and I was short the night before), so if this post doesn't make a whole lot of sense, that's why.
Yesterday at work? Was a total zoo. I'm told Mercury is in retrograde, which explains why I was getting every weird-ass question, every ESL caller, all that jazz. Took one Trendicrap order that I PRAY goes through because it was 58 items and took me about 45 minutes to get checked and confirmed. Had a full dozen orders, would've been a couple more, but the credit cards didn't go through. Seems like the holidays are starting to gear up already, which is good, becase back-to-school was definitely down from last year.
Oh, and next week? We have THREE partners coming in, including one on Wednesday. Lucky me, I have to make a special trip to Melbourne at the crack of dawn on my day off. *grumble grumble grumble*
Thursday evening, I coughed up $20 for gas, and my car seems to be running better, leading me to theorize that my problem was either a clog somewhere in my fuel system, or tainted gas that's now been diluted enough to run properly again. *knocks wood that it's okay now*
The church painting isn't quite done, but it's coming along nicely. We still have some trim left to do, and some of the doors need to be replaced. The base coat is a soft goldenrod, the trim and doors is a great olive green. Since we're surrounded by woods, the effect is very natural and mellow.

I'm wearing the ankh ring right now, planning to repurpose the little black choker, plotting the fate of some of the other stuff, too...my absolute favorite is the little pieces of opal---wow! I can't decide whether to find a chain for it or to lose the bail and wirewrap it....
