Monday's accomplishments

Went to WalMart to deposit cash from check, stopped by FPL paystation to take care of electric bill, did a load of laundry. So it hasn't ALL been sloth.

Otherwise, I watched a couple hours of Jericho on SciFi (and squeed muchly when one scene put James Remar, Skeet Ulrich and Richard Speight, Jr in the same room) and NCIS. Was underwhelmed by Heroes. (No Sylar?! We wuz robbed!)

And I still have two more days! *happy sigh*

*sigh* I'm out of the habit of House. I'll catch back eps on USA, but other than that, meh. I can't bring myself to care. Sad, huh?

At this point, I feel like I'm in a fight to the death with the Crack Monkeys to see how much they have to piss me off and destroy my show before I walk away.

But they keep throwing in things like Piano-gasms and clean-shaven, tie-wearing House to keep me in the game.

My accomplishment of cleaning was getting rid of small box of odds and ends for the TV property department. But it lowered the pile of clothes lounging in front of the window facing the street so now I at least can see outside more or less unencumbered. 24th was a red letter day in our country so we sat back, drank bubblies and mulled wine and we happy'ish.

Yeah, I'm happy at having moved things around. I can get at the front windows in my living room, I can get at the shelves in the living room that need to be decluttered and removed...it seems much more spacious. (Even though there's plenty more crap to go.)

It is a wonder what a small change can do: I took down a wall mounted lamp and put there another with this flexible 'neck' and now I can turn the lamp flat against the wall when not in use and lo and behold the more space there seems to be!
