Hot enough for you?

I know perfectly well that I can't expect cooler weather for at least another three months (closer to four, really). It hasn't even gotten really hot yet---it's still "only" about 90F. Ick.

Ah, well. I'm nannying this weekend, so that's 24 hours of continual A/C. And it is good....

you know, I would nanny willingly (I typed "willy nanningly" three times!) to get my boiling brain and ass into an airconditioned room. And this means *a lot*!
I'm sitting here staring at the local rain radar online, whooping at the thunderstorm to move a little bit more into my direction. It's nearly two in the morning and still 84F inside!

It's 91F in my office (at 8 PM). 84 sounds downright temperate. I have gotten into the habit of stepping into the shower and turning on the cold water and standing there until it gets to the "What do you *mean* it doesn't get any colder?" point. (Sometimes 2-3 times a day....)

I'll do a rain dance and hope that your cloud drifts the right way....
