I didn't like Bicentennial Man at all either. I like Robin Williams but he's been in some real stinkers. (Some of his movies are good, but some of them...eurgh.)

The problem I had with it was, I saw it in the theater, at Christmastime, the year I lost my brother. Two hours of watching everybody die hit too close to home, and by the time the credits rolled, I was sobbing like a baby. (I had the same reaction to "Nothing in Common" the year after my dad died, but at least THAT was on vhs at home so my emo wasn't all public.)

I thought it was a lousy movie for many many reasons which I won't go into here.
*hugs you for your loss of your dad and brother*

Seasons In The Sun-So much my growing up, and so very different after I actually heard the original Jacques Brel in French and the Kingston Trio version that hews much closer to the original.

I like your additions as well.
