A monumentous occasion has occurred! Last night, I was actually able to turn off the a/c and sleep comfortably with just the ceiling fan. Here's hoping the balmy weather continues, since in addition to feeling good, it offers relief from gonzo electric bills. Bliss!

You must be having the same chilly spell we have up here. The A/C hasn't been turned on in a week. However, it's so chilly at night that I'm sleeping in long jammies.

We usually try to get through October without turning on either the heat or air, but fall is coming on early this year so we may have to relent on the heat.
