The weather outside IS frightful

Another night of freezing temps...I'm ready to hibernate. Got under the covers to thaw this afternoon and nodded off for two hours. Am wearing inherited sweater over clothes-swapped long-sleeved knit, fleece-lined pants and mismatched furry mule slippers (one cheetah, one leopard)---not the slightest bit 'cute'. And they say this will probably go on for another week. I sure hope they're wrong. Global warming, my fat ass!
