As ganked from [livejournal.com profile] dine

List all of the television shows you have on DVD, no matter how obscure or embarrassing. Even if you only own one season, list it. Let's see who has what.

(I have a metric buttload of bootlegged VHS for such obscure golden oldies as The Burning Zone, Vengeance Unlimited, Picket Fences, The Commish, American Gothic and Kindred, the Embraced, but apparently they don't count)

Supernatural (Seasons 1 & 2)
Dark Angel (Season 2 only)
House MD (Seasons 1 & 2)
Jeeves and Wooster (complete boxed set)
Torchwood (Season 1, thanks to [livejournal.com profile] karaokegal)
Leverage (Season 1, eagerly awaiting Season 2)
Earth 2 (complete boxed set)
Cracker (US version, complete boxed set)
The Shield (Had Seasons 1, 2 & 3, can only find 1 & 2. Wtf?!)
Speed Racer (First set)

I would like to fill in SPN and Dark Angel, plan to snag White Collar when it's available, can think of scads of things I wouldn't mind acquiring---Due South, Eastwick, Trauma, Mannix, Black Sheep Squadron---or any of the stuff that's on VHS.

Let's see:

House: Seasons 1-5
Supernatural: Seasons 1-4
Torchwood: Seasons 1 and 2.
WKRP in Cincinnati: Season 1
X-Files: Season 1 and 2
Jeeves and Wooster: Complete boxed set
A Bit of Fry and Laurie: Complete boxed set
Jonathon Creek: All the seasons that Caroline Quinton appeared in, which I think was just the first two.

My wish list for the day our ship comes in and does NOT immediately plow into the pier: The complete The Vicar of Dibley and Stargate: Atlantis sets.

If we're talking full-on pie-in-the-sky, add Deadwood, Carnavale and Heroes. And a 48" flat screen to watch it on.

Hoohah! *rubs hands together, cackling* If I start saving my pennies now, I might be able to afford it by then.

A good friend of mine is burning American Gothic for me. If I'm able, I'll see about copying it for you as well.

That sounds like a VERY good friend. I'd really love a chance to revisit Trinity, and Sheriff Lucas Buck ("That's Buck with a 'B'."....), so I'll keep my fingers crossed! Thanks for thinking of me!

Shawn has also burned AstroBoy (movie), The Gate (movie), X-Files, VR-5, The Prisoner and a bunch of other stuff for me through the years. We've known eachother forever. I'll definitely get copies for ya!

They actually bothered to put US Cracker on DVD???? I'd think they would have burned the negatives and locked the ashes in an undisclosed location.

I'll do this one when I'm home next week. I went up to Season 3 on House, but couldn't stomach paying money for anything after that.

I picked the whole set up for some absurdly low price at Big Lots---I think it was like, $5-6. I know there's a UK version, which I wouldn't mind seeing one of these days, as I rather like Mr Coltrane, but without that to compare to, I will go on record as saying I *liked* the US version and was quite sad to hear of Mr Pastorelli's demise.

If you get the chance to see the original, I think you'll understand my feelings. Of all the US/UK botches, this is one of the most egregious. There are no words for how amazing Robbie was in that part, and the level of writing and acting involved...including early sightings of John Simm, Christopher Eccleston and others.
